Job summary

The WIKA Group in Al Khobar, Saudi Arabia, invites an experienced CAD Designer to join our engineering team. You will develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings for mechanical and instrumentation systems using AutoCAD, and prepare layout drawings, isometrics, and general arrangement drawings.

You will ensure designs meet ASME/ISA standards and project specs, collaborate with Sales to translate concepts into technical drawings, review orders, coordinate with procurement, production and quality, and

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Instrumentation, or related field.
• 5+ years of AutoCAD design experience in industrial or process plant environments.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical and instrumentation components (valves, sensors, piping).
• Experience with job order systems or ERP platforms.
• Familiarity with ASME B31.3 and ISA standards.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD (2D/3D) and knowledge of SolidWorks, EPLAN.

Responsibilities

• Develop detailed 2D and 3D drawings using AutoCAD for mechanical and instrumentation systems.
• Prepare layout drawings, isometrics, and general arrangement drawings.
• Ensure designs comply with industry standards (ASME, ISA) and project specifications.
• Collaborate with Sales/ Customer to interpret design concepts and translate them into technical drawings.
• Review and interpret job orders and client specifications.
• Coordinate with procurement, production, and quality teams to ensure timely execution of job orders.
• Track job order progress and update documentation accordingly.
• Maintain accurate records of revisions, approvals, and delivery timelines.
• Maintain drawing registers and ensure version control.
• Preparing BOMs (Bill of Materials) and technical documentation.
