Job summary

Smiths Group is seeking a Reliability Engineer to provide on-site support in Saudi Arabia, performing failure analyses and reliability assessments of rotating equipment, with emphasis on sealing systems. You will lead RCA investigations, troubleshoot field issues, and support installations and maintenance while upholding John Crane standards and safety policies; English fluency is required, Arabic a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in rotating equipment and sealing systems.
• Strong knowledge of maintenance and asset performance improvement.
• Experience in multinational/multicultural environments.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Perform reliability analyses of rotating equipment with a focus on sealing system performance.
• Lead RCA investigations with site assessments, data collection, analysis, and reporting of findings and recommendations.
• Conduct field troubleshooting and implement corrective actions with customer teams.
• Deliver technical presentations to support reliability improvements and sales opportunities.
• Support installations, commissioning, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure all work complies with John Crane standards, procedures, quality requirements and safety policies.
• Build strong customer relationships through effective technical support and communication.
