Job summary

SAB in Riyadh is seeking a Regulatory Reporting professional to lead and coordinate banking regulatory submissions and financial reporting for senior management. You will ensure accurate data consolidation and timely reporting in line with Central Bank requirements.

The role emphasizes collaboration with the Regulatory Reporting team, internal and external audits, and continuous improvement of reporting processes to support decision-making and regulatory compliance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
• Experience in regulatory reporting and financial reporting within banking.
• Good understanding of Central Bank regulatory reporting requirements and applicable banking regulations.
• Experience in preparing and reviewing regulatory reports, financial data, variance analysis, and management reports.
• Good knowledge of financial reporting principles, internal controls, and audit requirements.

Responsibilities

• Manage and support all regulatory reporting activities to facilitate regulatory supervision and strategic decision-making, both for the Central Bank and senior management.
• Support and manage the preparation and submission of regulatory reports to the Central Bank to effectively supervise and regulate financial and non-financial metrics.
• Utilize available resources, in coordination with Regulatory Reporting management, to ensure timely, accurate, and consistent preparation and submission of all regulatory reports.
• Manage the collection and consolidation of complex financial and non-financial information from across SAB divisions.
• Support and manage the preparation of ad hoc regulatory and Central Bank reporting requests from Senior Management.
• Implement and operationalize SAB's regulatory policies, ensuring consistent, controlled application.
• Conduct periodic internal reviews to ensure data reporting aligns with SAB standards and the Financial Instruction Manual.
• Ensure timely closure of action points raised by internal and external auditors.
• Prepare and submit key variance reports to support management oversight.
• Facilitate management reviews and CFO sign-off with accurate information, analysis, and explanations within deadlines.
• Monitor regulatory KPIs against targets, analyze variances, and provide commentary.
• Monitor compliance with processes across transactions and identify opportunities for improvement.
• Liaise with external auditors during financial audits and address issues raised.

Qualifications and Requirements:
