Job summary

Surbana Jurong is seeking an experienced Regional Director – Water & Environment (Middle East) to provide strategic leadership, drive growth, and oversee major water, environmental, and waste projects across the Middle East. You will lead multidisciplinary teams, shape client strategies, and manage complex tenders and programs in a dynamic market.

The role requires extensive regional experience, strong leadership, and deep knowledge of water, environment, and waste sectors, with a track record

Qualifications

• 15+ years of relevant industry experience.
• Minimum 5 years’ Middle East experience, preferably UAE and KSA.
• Strong expertise in Water, Environment and/or Waste.

About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Regional Director – Water & Environment (Middle East) to provide strategic leadership, drive business growth, develop key client relationships, and oversee the successful delivery of major water, environmental, and waste projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the Water & Environment business across the Middle East


• Develop strategic client relationships and new business opportunities


• Lead tenders, proposals, and commercial strategies


• Oversee medium to large-scale water, environmental, and waste projects


• Lead multidisciplinary teams across multiple locations


• Drive performance, innovation, and best practice

Requirements:

• 15+ years of relevant industry experience


• Minimum 5 years’ Middle East experience, preferably including UAE and KSA


• Strong expertise in Water, Environment and/or Waste


• Proven experience managing medium to large-scale projects


• Strong business development, client management, and commercial experience


• Excellent leadership and stakeholder management skills


• Strong knowledge of relevant industry standards and legislation


• Engineering, Environmental Science, or related degree; professional qualifications preferred
