Responsibilities

• Receive and inspect incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Verify quality, quantity, and condition of goods received.
• Record and process all received items in the inventory system.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, Finance and operations on deliveries and discrepancies.
• Report damaged or missing items and follow up on resolutions.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of received goods per company standards.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock control as required.
• Follow health, safety, and security procedures.

About the location:

AMAALA is situated along Saudi Arabia’s northwest coast and is home to some of the most diverse natural environments. The Role of the Receiving Clerk

As a Receiving Clerk, you will be responsible for receiving, inspecting, and processing deliveries to ensure all goods meet quality and quantity standards. You will play a key role in supporting hotel operations by maintaining accurate records, ensuring proper inventory control, and coordinating with various departments and suppliers to facilitate the efficient flow of goods.

What You Will Do

• Receive and inspect incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery notes.
• Verify the quality, quantity, and condition of goods received.
• Record and process all received items accurately in the inventory management system.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Stores, Finance, and operational departments regarding deliveries and discrepancies.
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect items and follow up on resolutions.
• Ensure proper storage and handling of received goods in accordance with company standards.
• Maintain accurate receiving documentation and records.
• Assist with inventory counts and stock control activities as required.
• Follow all health, safety, and security procedures.

What You Bring

• Previous experience in receiving, stores, inventory control, or a similar role, preferably within hospitality.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in record keeping.
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and receiving procedures.
• Good organizational and time-management skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Basic computer skills and familiarity with inventory systems.
• Ability to lift and handle goods safely when required.
• Fluency in English is required; Arabic language skills are a must.
