Job summary

Halliburton in Jubail Highway Abu Hadria Exit, Al-Khobar, Saudi Arabia, seeks an Experienced Technician-Logging and Perforating to diagnose and repair surface and downhole systems, while providing leadership to junior technicians and supporting field equipment maintenance.

The role involves traveling to field locations to resolve equipment issues, with training under a Principal Technician-Logging and Perforating to gain expertise in logging tools and related specialty equipment.

Qualifications

• Two years experience as Technician-Logging and Perforating or equivalent electronics experience.
• Completion of Ft Worth maintenance school.
• Knowledge of surface systems, open and cased hole tools, and lab testing equipment.
• Willingness to train under a Principal Technician-Logging and Perforating.

Responsibilities

• Diagnoses and repairs surface and downhole electronic and mechanical systems.
• Provides leadership and guidance to lower level technicians.

Job Duties

Under general supervision, diagnoses and repairs surface and downhole electronic and mechanical systems problems while providing leadership and guidance to lower level technicians. Typically trains under a Principal Technician-Logging and Perforating to gain knowledge and experience in maintaining logging equipment and tools including some specialty equipment. Requires knowledge of surface systems, open and cased hole tools, and lab testing equipment. May assist in radiation record keeping. Visits field locations when needed to help solve equipment technical problems and follows up on equipment repair at headquarters. Job tasks, correctly performed, impact indirectly on cost containment, efficiency, profitability or operations. Consequences of error are easily measured and can be confined. Skills are typically acquired through 2 years experience as a Technician-Logging and Perforating, or equivalent experience in electronics and successful completion of the Ft Worth maintenance school.
