Role Purpose:
Lead, establish, and direct the quality management strategy and operational QA/QC framework across plant operations; ensure full compliance with internal quality standards, customer specifications, and regulatory requirements (ISO 9001) while driving continuous improvement, defect reduction, and effective non-conformance management.
Key Responsibilities:
1- Quality Strategy & Systems Management:
Develops, maintains, and enforces the plant-wide Quality Management System (QMS), Quality Control Plans (QCP), and Inspection & Test Plans (ITP) in alignment with ISO 9001 and industry standards.
2- Defect & Non-Conformance Management:
Oversees non-conformance detection, Root Cause Analysis (RCA), CAPA, and 8D reporting to resolve quality failures and prevent recurrence across the production line.
3- Quality Performance & Statistical Control:
Implements Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement System Analysis (MSA), and Gauge R&R to monitor capability metrics and minimize process variation.
4- Audit & Customer Quality Assurance:
Leads internal and external quality audits, manages customer complaint resolution (PPM rate monitoring), and aligns plant standards with client/consultant requirements.
5- Team Leadership & Safety Oversight:
Directs daily activities of Quality Engineers, QC Inspectors, and Safety personnel; drives team capability development and ensures full HSE compliance.
Necessary Knowledge and Experience:
Minimum of 8 years of experience in quality management within manufacturing operations, with a minimum of 2 years in a direct team leadership role.
Education and Certification Minimum Requirements:
Certifications: ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE); ISO 9001 Lead Auditor; Six Sigma Black Belt.
