Job summary

AS Contracting Co seeks a Quality Engineer (Electrical) for a High Voltage Substation Project 110 KV in Jeddah. You will oversee QA/QC activities at the site, ensuring compliance with the Project Quality Management Plan and technical specs.

The role reports to the Quality Manager and PM, coordinating inspections with the customer and project team, raising NCRs, and compiling monthly quality reports to drive continuous improvement and project success.

Qualifications

• Experience in QA/QC for electrical projects preferred.
• Familiarity with project quality plans and standards.
• Ability to raise NCRs and implement corrective actions.

Responsibilities

• Oversee QA/QC activities at the site.
• Monitor and ensure implementation of the Project Quality Management Plan.
• Report to Quality Manager and PM on quality status.

We are hiring for the position of Quality Engineer (Electrical) for High Voltage Substation Project 110 KV.

Job Description:

• Responsible for QA/QC activities at the site. In this capacity
• Monitor and supervise the effective implementation of the Project Quality Management Plan.
• The Project QA/QC Engineer will report to Quality Manager and PM
• implement the Project Quality Management plan
• Ensure that project site activities are performed to satisfy the project technical specifications and contract requirements
• Ensure implementation of the processes, work instructions and procedures at the site
• Coordinate with the customer and SM to perform inspections with reference to delivered material / equipment and / or the works executed.
• Conduct quality assessments and inspections and identify / report the non-conformances
• Raise the Non-conformance reports
• Collect quality performance statistics and report monthly quality report
• Identify and report lessons learned
• Report and elevate matters critical to the project quality
• Conduct quality awareness sessions for the site personnel
• Ensure that all Red Markup drawing have signature and stamp by Customer

Candidate must have letter as approved QA/QC Engineer by SEC and National Grid -Saudi Arabia or SWCC for High Voltage Substation Project 110 KV
