Job summary

KONE is seeking an experienced Quality Engineer in Jeddah to ensure quality requirements across our products and processes. You will lead data-driven improvement projects, perform inspections, and support audits.

The role requires a mechanical or electrical engineering degree and 4–5 years’ experience in the elevators/escalators industry. Strong analytical skills, ISO 9001 knowledge, and proficiency with testing and defect management are essential, along with MS Office and related tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
• 4 to 5 Years of Experience in Elevators & Escalators industry with a proven track record in a similar role.
• Quality Certificate ISO 9001 is recommended.
• Deep knowledge of quality assurance terminology, methods, and tools
• Superb computer skills, including database management.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Proficiency in best practices for testing, version control, and defect management.
• Professional certification, such as Six Sigma, CQE, or CQA.
• Excellent skills in computer (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Responsibilities

• Prioritize quality performance improvement based on data analysis.
• Use continuous improvement methodologies to investigate non-conformances and determine root cause, identify corrective actions, and drive actions to closure.
• Create and analyses large datasets from multiple platforms and analyses trends.
• Support Quality Manager with target setting.
• Perform in-process or product inspections and execute measures, tests, sampling methods, and other procedures to validate that requirements are met.
• Maintain and update quality records required by the quality procedures.
• Share skills and knowledge with the organization about quality methodology and tools and ensure they understand and develop the capability to execute the learnings with established quality procedures and standards.
• Supports the quality manager with internal and external audits.
• Is responsible for coordinating preventive and corrective actions of Quality Improvement teams in her/his area.
