Otis Elevator Company Saudi Arabia Ltd is hiring a Quality Engineer to design and implement a comprehensive QA program. The role focuses on inspection at worksites, field process definitions, and coordinating with client inspection teams before handover.

You will lead testing plans and drive continuous improvement across Otis projects. The ideal candidate holds a engineering or business degree, CQE certification preferred, and at least three years of experience in vertical transportation.

The role holder shall carry out his duties in accordance with the stipulated business policies and procedures.**Core Responsibilities*** Develops, applies and maintains quality evaluation, control systems and protocols for materials being processed into partially finished or finished products at major project worksites.* Serves as the primary quality assurance resource to department working for problem identification, resolution, and continuous improvement.* Reviews and approves quality requirements for manufacturing planning, supplier purchase orders, and engineering specifications to ensure contract compliance.* Devises testing plans and methods to assure reliability of product installations.* Inspects parts and supplies delivered at work sites to ensure compliance with product specifications and contractual agreements.* Develops, applies and maintains quality standards for all field operation activities.* Designs and implements methods for process control, process improvement, testing and inspection.* Performs root cause analysis and recommends corrective actions and process reengineering to ensure that operational metrics are maintained as per the globally defined standards for Otis products and services.* Develops and implements quality system, and maintains them through internal audit ensuring compliance with set processes.* Coordinates with client’s inspection teams and quality assurance teams within Otis globally to identify best practices and deploy them locally.* Designs and delivers training material on quality standards and activities.* Participates in internal and external quality audits.* Updates safety policies and procedures when required.**Minimum Qualifications*** Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Business Administration or equivalent* Relevant certification such as Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or equivalent is preferred* Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in performing engineering operations within the vertical transportation industry* Saudi nationals preferredIf you live in a city, chances are we will give you a lift or play a role in keeping you moving every day.Otis is the world’s leading elevator and escalator manufacturing, installation, and service company.
