Job summary

Arabian Oud is seeking a Quality Control Specialist to ensure raw materials and production processes meet defined quality standards across the supply chain. You will coordinate with international suppliers, inspect materials, oversee in-process and final product quality, and manage quality documentation.

The role requires attention to detail, knowledge of inspection procedures, and strong communication in English.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Chemistry, or related field.
  • Minimum 2 years in quality control or quality assurance, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
  • Familiarity with international and local quality standards and inspection techniques.
  • Experience using ERP systems such as Oracle.
  • Strong attention to detail with analytical and reporting skills.
  • Good command of English, both written and spoken.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams under tight production timelines.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate with international suppliers regarding raw material quality and resolve any related issues.
  • Inspect and test raw materials and final products using Oracle or other quality systems.
  • Review and update product artwork and technical specifications according to quality standards.
  • Collect and analyze material samples upon arrival and during production for compliance.
  • Prepare and submit quality reports, including non-conformance and periodic performance reports.
  • Conduct inspections during production processes and ensure adherence to acceptance criteria.
  • Evaluate new samples and maintain organized storage of reference materials.
  • Supervise quality inspectors and elevate any major findings to the Quality Manager.
  • Inspect packaging materials before use and manage sorting of tester and product bottles.
  • Maintain all quality-related documentation, including inspection records and rework logs.

Job Purpose:

The Quality Control Specialist is responsible for ensuring that raw materials and production processes meet defined quality standards throughout the supply chain and manufacturing cycle. This role involves coordinating with international suppliers, inspecting incoming materials, overseeing in-process and final product quality, and managing quality documentation. The specialist conducts sample testing, supports production line readiness, and ensures non-conformities are recorded and addressed. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong knowledge of inspection procedures, and the ability to maintain a high level of compliance and accuracy in quality operations.
