Job summary

Mnzil | منزل in Saudi Arabia is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to own the quality bar for our web and mobile products, ensuring every release is fast, functional, and defect-free.

You will design, write, and maintain manual and automated tests, log defects with clear reproduction steps, and collaborate with product managers and engineers from requirements review to production release in a hybrid work setup.

Qualifications

• 3+ years hands-on QA experience in manual and automated testing on web and/or mobile products.
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or Appium.
• API testing experience (REST, Postman or equivalent) and defect tracking in Jira or similar.

Responsibilities

• Design, write, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web and mobile apps (functional, regression, integration, and edge cases)
• Log and track defects with clear reproduction steps, severity, and evidence, and follow them through to resolution
• Work with product managers and engineers from requirement review to production release to catch issues early
• Build and maintain automated test suites that run reliably in CI/CD pipelines
• Run API tests and standard performance tests, and report the results
• Analyse test results and failure patterns to find root causes, not just symptoms
• Track quality metrics (defect escape rate, test coverage, regression pass rate) and share them with the team
• Keep improving our testing processes, tools, and standards as we ship faster

What You'll Own

• Design, write, and maintain manual and automated test cases for web and mobile apps (functional, regression, integration, and edge cases)

What You Bring

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field
• 3+ years of hands-on QA experience in manual and automated testing on web and/or mobile products
• Experience with test automation frameworks such as Cypress, Playwright, Selenium, or Appium
• API testing experience (REST, Postman or equivalent) and defect tracking in Jira or similar
• Mobile testing (iOS and Android) and SQL for data checks are a plus
• Fluent in Arabic, with English proficiency
