Qualifications

• 6+ years of mechanical QC inspection experience.
• Saudi Aramco project experience and CBT certification.
• Knowledge of ITPs, QA/QC documentation, and applicable codes.

Responsibilities

• Inspect mechanical equipment, installations, fabrication and construction per drawings, ITPs and standards.
• Review MTCs, inspection reports, test records and QA/QC documentation.
• Ensure compliance with ITPs, method statements, specs and Aramco requirements.
• Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors and third-party inspectors.
• Raise, track and close NCRs, observations and corrective actions.
• Maintain inspection records, checklists, reports and quality docs.
• Support testing, pre-commissioning and final inspection activities.

Job description

We are seeking an experienced QC Mechanical Inspector to oversee and verify mechanical inspection and quality control activities across project sites in Saudi Arabia. The role requires strong knowledge of mechanical inspection procedures, ITPs, QA/QC documentation, applicable codes and standards, and Saudi Aramco project requirements.

• Conduct inspections of mechanical equipment, installations, fabrication, and construction activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, and project standards.
• Perform material receiving, fit-up, fabrication, installation, dimensional, and final inspections.
• Review and verify MTCs, inspection reports, test records, and QA/QC documentation.
• Ensure compliance with approved ITPs, method statements, specifications, and Saudi Aramco standards.
• Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, and client/third-party inspectors for inspection activities.
• Raise and follow up on NCRs, observations, and corrective actions and ensure timely closure.
• Maintain inspection records, checklists, reports, and quality documentation.
• Participate in testing, pre-commissioning, and final inspection activities as required.
• Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to approved quality and safety requirements.
• Support preparation of Turnover/Mechanical Completion dossiers and other project quality records.

Mandatory Requirements

• Diploma/Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent technical qualification.
• 6+ years of relevant experience as a QC Mechanical Inspector.
• Minimum 6+ years of relevant Gulf experience preferred/required.
• Valid Saudi Aramco approval or proven experience working on Saudi Aramco projects.
• Valid CBT certification, where applicable.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical inspection procedures, ITP, QA/QC documentation, and project specifications.
• Good understanding of applicable international codes, standards, and Saudi Aramco requirements.
• Candidates currently available in Saudi Arabia will be given priority.
