Job summary

Durucooperation is seeking an experienced QC Mechanical Inspector to oversee mechanical inspection and QA/QC activities across project sites in Saudi Arabia. The role requires strong knowledge of inspection procedures, ITPs, QA/QC documentation, applicable codes and Saudi Aramco project requirements.

The candidate will conduct inspections of mechanical equipment and installations, review MTCs and test records, and ensure compliance with ITPs and project specifications.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent
• 6+ years of relevant experience as a QC Mechanical Inspector
• Minimum 6+ years Gulf experience preferred/required
• Valid Saudi Aramco approval or proven experience on Saudi Aramco projects
• Valid CBT certification, where applicable
• Strong knowledge of mechanical inspection procedures, ITP, QA/QC documentation, and project specifications
• Candidates currently available in Saudi Arabia will be given priority; Saudi Nationals are not eligible; local-transfer candidates may apply

Responsibilities

• Conduct inspections of mechanical equipment, installations, fabrication, and construction activities in accordance with approved drawings, specifications, ITPs, and project standards.
• Perform material receiving, fit-up, fabrication, installation, dimensional, and final inspections.
• Review and verify MTCs, inspection reports, test records, and QA/QC documentation.
• Ensure compliance with approved ITPs, method statements, specifications, and Saudi Aramco standards.
• Coordinate with construction teams, subcontractors, and client/third-party inspectors for inspection activities.
• Raise and follow up on NCRs, observations, and corrective actions and ensure timely closure.
• Maintain inspection records, checklists, reports, and quality documentation.
• Participate in testing, pre-commissioning, and final inspection activities as required.
• Monitor site activities to ensure adherence to approved quality and safety requirements.
• Support preparation of Turnover/Mechanical Completion dossiers and other project quality records.
