Job summary

ABIS in Al Jubayl, Eastern Province, seeks a qualified QC Inspector for instrumentation construction projects. You will perform inspections, verify installations, and ensure compliance with drawings and ITPs.

You will maintain records, raise NCRs, and coordinate with client inspectors. A Diploma/Bachelor's in Instrumentation Engineering and QC certification preferred, with 5–8 years of experience.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years of experience as a QC Inspector on instrumentation construction projects.
• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Instrumentation Engineering.
• QC/inspection certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections on instrumentation installation works.
• Witness loop checks, calibration, and instrument testing activities per the ITP.
• Verify instrument installation, tubing, and wiring against approved drawings and specifications.
• Verify materials and instruments against material certificates and specifications.
• Record inspection results and raise Non-Conformance Reports as required.
• Coordinate hold points and inspections with client/third-party inspectors.
• Maintain inspection records, checklists, and daily QC reports.
• Verify calibration status of test and measuring equipment used on site.
• Support punch-list generation and verification of closure for instrumentation works.
• Ensure work fronts comply with approved method statements and instrumentation standards.
• Support preparation of quality documentation for instrumentation handover dossiers.
