Job summary

ABIS in the United Arab Emirates is seeking a QC Inspector - Instrumentation with 5-8 years' experience on instrumentation construction projects to verify drawings, specs and standards. You will perform in-process and final inspections, witness loop checks, calibration, and testing activities per the ITP, and ensure proper documentation.

SECTION II: Job Analysis

The QC Inspector - Instrument performs inspection and testing of instrumentation construction activities to verify compliance with drawings, specifications, and applicable standards.

Duties & Responsibilities

• Perform in-process and final inspections on instrumentation installation works.
• Witness loop checks, calibration, and instrument testing activities per the ITP.
• Verify instrument installation, tubing, and wiring against approved drawings and specifications.
• Verify materials and instruments against material certificates and specifications.
• Record inspection results and raise Non-Conformance Reports as required.
• Coordinate hold points and inspections with client/third-party inspectors.
• Maintain inspection records, checklists, and daily QC reports.
