Job summary

Hunting invites a QC Inspector to join our QA team in Saudi Arabia. The role covers visual and dimensional inspection of machined items, rental fleet items, and supplier service items, including first-off, in-process, receiving and final inspection.

You will ensure compliance with API/Q1/Q2 OHAS ISO standards, perform NDT if certified, manage calibration records, and raise non-conformances while supporting HSEQ procedures and QA reporting.

Qualifications

  • Experience auditing HSEQ management systems and processes.
  • Knowledge of international codes and standards (HSEQ).
  • Familiar with ISO9001, API Q1/Q2, OHAS 18001, ISO14001.
  • Ability to analyse data and present findings clearly.
  • Experience designing and delivering training materials.
  • Proficient in professional communication and reporting.

Responsibilities

  • Perform visual and dimensional inspection of machined items.
  • Carry out first-off, in-process, receiving and final inspections.
  • Conduct NDT inspection if certified (Level 2).
  • Witness hardness testing and pressure testing where required.
  • Manage calibration and update records in the equipment database.
  • Review and release items post inspection, including non-API monogram items.
  • Raise non-conformance reports and manage corrective actions.
  • Adhere to Hunting QMS & HSE procedures and work instructions.

The QA Inspector will be accountable for the visual and dimensional inspection of machined items, rental fleet item and supplier service items. This would cover first off inspection, API and licensee standard required inspection and final inspection for all Hunting’s product lines

Key Responsibilities
  • Responsible for the visual and dimensional inspection of machined items this includes:
  • First off inspection
  • In-process inspection
  • Receiving Inspection
  • Final inspection
  • NDT inspection if NDT Level 2 Certified
  • Hardness Inspection
  • Pressure testing witness
  • Premium Connection inspection
  • Drift testing
  • Service inspection
  • Responsible for uploading all hardness, Non-destructive testing, and drift testing results onto a spreadsheet.
  • Responsible for carrying out lifting equipment visual examination and recertification.
  • Responsible for the control of non-conforming products.
  • Responsible for Adhere Hunting QMS & HSE system procedures, and work instructions.
  • Responsible for to Adhere the Quality & HSE Policy.
  • Authority for carrying out Calibration and updating records in the Equipment database.
  • Authority for receiving and approving the MTC.
  • Authority for preparing the inspection reports.
  • Authority to release the material after final inspection- Non-API monogram products
  • Authority to stop the process if any deviations/concerns about product quality and HSE.
  • Authority for the review of all documentation supplied with all items that require a quality inspection.
  • Authority to witness the pressure testing.
  • Accountable for performing an inspection as per the stated requirements.
  • Accountable for raising Non-conformance reports either internal or Sub-con.
Qualifications/Skills and Experience
  • Full Saudi Driving Licence
  • Relevant university or ITI diploma, or 2 - 3 Industry experience
  • Green Belt/Black Belt in Lean 6-Sigma
  • NEBOSH 5 or 6 National Diploma or relevant Industry experience
  • Wide ranging auditing experience
  • In depth knowledge of HSEQ International Codes and Standards
  • Experience of ISO9001, API Q1 & Q2 OHAS 18001 ISO 14001
  • Risk management and incident investigation skills
  • Detailed analysis and reporting techniques including the visualisation and analysis of data
  • High level of computer proficiency (work processing, spreadsheets and presentations
  • Skilled in preparation, development and delivery of training programs.

  • Highly professional conduct
  • Must be willing to travel and able to spend time away from home.
