The QA/QC Electrical Engineer shall be responsible for implementing and monitoring the project Quality Management System for all electrical works, ensuring that construction activities, materials, installations, testing, and commissioning comply with the approved drawings, specifications, applicable standards, approved method statements, ITPs, and project requirements.
Review electrical shop drawings, specifications, material submittals, method statements, and ITPs from a QA/QC perspective.
Inspect electrical installations and ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, and quality standards.
Prepare and review WIR/MIR, inspection checklists, ITPs, and testing documentation.
Monitor installation of LV/MV systems, power and lighting, cable trays, conduits, cabling, earthing, lightning protection, panels, transformers, generators, and ELV systems.
Witness and verify electrical testing and commissioning activities and test reports.
Verify delivered materials against approved submittals and project specifications.
Monitor subcontractor works and ensure compliance with approved QA/QC requirements.
Raise and follow up NCRs, SORs, observations, and corrective actions.
Coordinate with Construction, Engineering, Technical Office, Procurement, and Consultant teams on quality matters.
Maintain QA/QC records and inspection/testing documentation and support project handover and final quality documentation.
Electrical construction, installation, inspection, and testing.
ITP, MIR/WIR, NCR/SOR preparation and management.
Method statements, inspection checklists, and quality documentation.
Material approval, inspection, and traceability.
