Job summary

Fichtner Consulting Engineers Company is seeking an experienced Electrical QA/CQ engineer to perform site inspections, review ITPs, method statements, drawings and witness key points. The role requires 7+ years of field QA/CQ experience with a focus on electrical works and on-site responsibilities in the Makkah region of Saudi Arabia.

The candidate should have strong MV/LV electrical systems knowledge, be capable of raising NCRs, managing CAPA with proper documentation, and maintaining QA/CQ

Qualifications

• B.E in Electrical Engineering is required.
• 7+ years’ field QA/CQ experience in electrical works (power/industrial preferred).
• Strong knowledge of MV/LV electrical systems, cabling, earthing & bonding, protection & control interfaces, and acceptance testing.

Responsibilities

• Perform site inspections for electrical installation and testing activities and verify QA/CQ compliance.
• Review ITPs, method statements, drawings, and test procedures to ensure correct implementation at site.
• Witness key hold points, support pre-commissioning and commissioning checks, and ensure all electrical tests are executed as per approved plans.
• Raise NCRs, track corrective actions (CAPA) and ensure closure with proper evidence documentation.
• Maintain QA/CQ records and registers: test reports, inspection checklists, material traceability, calibration certificates, and submit reports to QA/CQ management.
