Job summary

Larsen & Toubro Limited in Saudi Arabia seeks a Welding QA/QC Inspector to verify materials, welds, and compliance with codes across structural, piping, and tank works.

You will perform welding procedure qualification tests, maintain PQRs, prepare ITPs, and coordinate inspections with customers, including NDT and hydrotest activities. This role involves site work and meticulous documentation to ensure quality milestones are met.

Responsibilities

• Verification of materials, mill test certificates and confirming compliance to the code & company requirements during IMIR clearance.
• Conducting welding procedure qualification tests and maintaining procedure qualification records (PQR) for Structural, Tank & Piping works.
• Preparation of Welding Procedure Specification & conducting Procedure Qualification test at site per requirement.
• Verification of welding consumables BTCs & conduct necessary Qualification test at site.
• Preparation of Job procedure & ITP pertaining to Structural, Piping & Tank works.
• Periodical Site Internal Audits.
• Visually inspecting the fit up & welded joints of Structural, Tank & Piping works.
• Welding inspection (surveillance checks before, during and after welding).
• Conducting all NDT inspections and preparation of all inspection records.
• Coordination with Customer for necessary day-to-day inspections.
• Piping test package preparation, review, and site verification and punching the pending activities.
• NDT Clearance of Piping Test packs
• Hydrotest witness of Tank & Piping system.
