The ideal candidate should have 3-5 years of experience in a government relations role in Saudi Arabia and proficiency with immigration and labor compliance regulations. This role requires excellent organizational skills and ability to navigate Saudi laws and platforms like QIWA and GOSI. A bachelor's degree is preferred, although extensive experience may be accepted as an alternative.

Job description

PRO is responsible for handling all official documentation and liaising with government authorities to ensure smooth business operations. This includes managing visa, immigration procedures and government portals, labor and employment compliance, and maintaining strong relationships with relevant government entities. The role requires a proactive professional with excellent organizational skills and a deep understanding of Saudi regulations and all platforms such as QIWA, GOSI, Absher, and Mudad, etc..

Key responsibilities:
Government Liaison and Compliance:
  • Serve as the primary point of contact with government authorities for all official matters.
  • Monitor and stay updated on changes in Saudi laws, regulations, and policies, advising management on compliance.
  • Ensure timely renewal of company licenses, permits, registrations, and certifications (e.g., commercial registration, Saudization certificates).
  • Handle audits, inspections, and any government inquiries or disputes.
Visa and Immigration Management:
  • Process work visas, Iqamas (residence permits), and residency renewals, transfers, or cancellations for employees and dependents.
  • Manage exit/re-entry visas, final exit procedures, and related formalities.
  • Coordinate mandatory procedures such as medical examinations, fingerprinting, and background checks for new hires.
Labor and Employment Services:
  • Manage employee records and processes on government platforms like QIWA (labor management system), GOSI (social insurance), Absher (e‑services portal), Muqeem (visa services), and Mudad (payroll compliance).
  • Ensure adherence to Saudi labor laws, including contract registrations, wage protection, and end‑of‑service benefits.
  • Support Saudization initiatives by tracking quotas and assisting with hiring and training programs.
Document and Record Management:
  • Prepare, submit, and track applications, forms, and documents required by government bodies.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of all official documents, such as Iqamas, labor cards, trade licenses, and employee files.
  • Organize and archive physical and digital records in compliance with data protection regulations.
Skills
Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Relations, Communications, Law, Human Resources, or a related field. A diploma or high school certificate may suffice with extensive experience, but a degree is preferred.

  • Valid Saudi driver's license (preferred, as the role may involve travel to government offices).
