Job summary

Ericsson AB in Riyadh is hiring for a senior core networks specialist to drive end-to-end change architecture across PS Core, CS Core, and IMS. You will analyze requirements, define deployment strategies, and act as the technical authority during CAB reviews.

You will lead cross-domain impact assessments, oversee risk and rollback planning, and push standards for automation and network transformations in a cloud-native environment.

Qualifications

• 8+ years’ experience in telecom Core Networks.
• Strong expertise in PS Core; good expertise in CS Core & IMS.
• Hands on experience on MME, EPG, PCC/PCG, SAPC, SMF/UPF, NEF, ESOA, iDNS.
• Experience with HLD/LLD analysis, impact analysis, migrations, upgrades, and network transformations.
• Experience working with change management, CAB governance, and operational handovers.
• Strong stakeholder management and technical leadership skills.
• Experience with NFV, OpenStack, VMware, Kubernetes, or cloud-native Core solutions.

Responsibilities

• Analyze service requirements, HLDs, LLDs, and Service Design Packages.
• Assess cross-domain impact across CS Core, IMS, and PS Core.
• Define end-to-end implementation architecture and deployment strategy.
• Lead technical risk, impact, rollback, and dependency assessments.
• Define testing, validation, KPI monitoring, and acceptance criteria.
• Review and approve MOPs, scripts, implementation plans, and change packages.
• Act as technical authority during CAB reviews and major implementations.
• Support root cause analysis and post-implementation reviews.
• Drive architectural standards, automation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
