Work on One of the World's Largest Operational Tornado Fleets
Morson Edge is currently recruiting experienced Propulsion Technicians to support a major RSAF Tornado maintenance programme in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.
This is an excellent opportunity for aircraft propulsion specialists to join a highly experienced maintenance organisation supporting operational military aircraft within a professional and highly regulated aviation environment.
Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, fault diagnosis, repair, servicing, and testing of aircraft propulsion systems, helping to maintain aircraft availability and operational readiness across a major military aviation programme.
Whether your background is fast jet, military aviation, transport aircraft, rotary wing, or complex aircraft maintenance, this role offers the opportunity to apply your specialist engine maintenance expertise within a large-scale operational aviation environment.
Previous Tornado experience is highly desirable but not essential. Engineers with relevant aircraft propulsion, engine maintenance, or powerplant experience are encouraged to apply.
Further details regarding deployment schedules, accommodation arrangements, travel, leave rotations, and assignment logistics will be provided during the recruitment process.
Reporting to the Propulsion Supervisor, you will carry out maintenance activities on aircraft propulsion systems, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with approved technical documentation, airworthiness requirements, and organisational procedures.
You will support aircraft availability through inspection, fault diagnosis, repair, servicing, engine changes, testing, and maintenance recovery activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and workmanship.
The role requires a sound understanding of aircraft engine maintenance practices and the ability to operate effectively within a structured military aviation environment supporting operational aircraft readiness.
Supporting operational military aircraft overseas is becoming increasingly rare.
Whether you're an experienced Tornado propulsion specialist or an aircraft maintenance professional looking to apply your engine maintenance expertise within a major military aviation programme, this opportunity offers exposure to a highly experienced engineering organisation supporting a critical operational fleet.
For many engineers, opportunities to work on the Tornado platform are becoming increasingly limited. This programme offers the chance to support one of the world's largest remaining operational Tornado fleets while working alongside experienced military aviation professionals.
If you have aircraft propulsion, engine maintenance, or aircraft mechanical maintenance experience and are interested in supporting a major international military aviation programme, we'd like to hear from you.
