Job summary

Morson Edge is seeking experienced Aircraft Pneudraulic Technicians for a major RSAF Tornado programme in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia. You will maintain, inspect, repair, overhaul and test pneumatic and hydraulic systems on operational military aircraft, supporting readiness in a regulated environment.

Prev Tornado experience is desirable; candidates with relevant pneudraulic or hydraulic experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

  • Completion of a recognised Aircraft Pneudraulic trade course (military or civilian).
  • Experience maintaining aircraft pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings, blueprints and diagrams.

Responsibilities

  • Inspect, install, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul and modify pneumatic and hydraulic systems.
  • Maintain and repair ground support equipment.
  • Diagnose faults and conduct system testing for leakage and serviceability.
  • Ensure maintenance is performed to approved procedures and airworthiness standards.
  • Maintain accurate documentation and support aircraft readiness.

Morson Edge is currently recruiting experienced Aircraft Pneudraulic Technicians to support a major RSAF Tornado maintenance programme in Dhahran, Saudi Arabia.This is an excellent opportunity for aircraft pneudraulic specialists to join a highly experienced maintenance organisation supporting operational military aircraft within a professional and highly regulated aviation environment.Working as part of a skilled engineering team, you will be responsible for the maintenance, inspection, repair, overhaul, modification, and testing of aircraft pneumatic and hydraulic systems, helping to maintain aircraft availability and operational readiness across a major military aviation programme.

Whether your background is fast jet, military aviation, transport aircraft, rotary wing, or complex aircraft maintenance, this role offers the opportunity to apply your specialist skills within a large-scale operational aviation environment.Prevous Tornado experience is highly desirable but not essential. Engineers with relevant aircraft pneudraulic or hydraulic systems experience are encouraged to apply.

The Role

Reporting to the Pneudraulic Supervisor, you will carry out maintenance activities on aircraft pneumatic and hydraulic systems and associated support equipment, ensuring all work is completed in accordance with approved technical documentation, maintenance procedures, and regulatory requirements.

You will support aircraft availability through inspection, fault diagnosis, repair, overhaul, modification, testing, and servicing activities while maintaining the highest standards of safety, compliance, and workmanship. The role requires a sound understanding of aircraft pneudraulic systems and the ability to operate effectively within a structured military aviation environment supporting operational aircraft readiness.

Key Responsibilities
  • Aircraft Pneudraulic MaintenanceInspect, install, troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, and modify aircraft pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Maintain and repair associated ground support equipment
  • Diagnose system faults and carry out rectification activities
  • Conduct testing of systems and sub-assemblies for leakage, pressure, adjustment, and serviceability
  • Perform maintenance activities in accordance with approved technical publications and procedures
  • Support aircraft serviceability and operational readiness
  • Ensure all work is completed to required quality and airworthiness standards
  • Maintain accurate maintenance documentation and records
  • Support aircraft generation and maintenance recovery activities
Training & Development
  • Provide on-the-job training and technical guidance where required
  • Support the development of trainee technicians
  • Assist with engineering problem-solving and continuous improvement activities
  • Maintain valid and current authorisations relevant to assigned tasks
Quality & Safety
  • Maintain compliance with technical publications and approved maintenance procedures
  • Support FOD prevention and housekeeping standards
  • Adhere to all Safety, Health & Environment (SHE) and Product Safety requirements
  • Ensure all maintenance documentation is completed accurately and on time
  • Promote safe working practices within the maintenance environment
Essential Qualifications & Experience
  • Completion of a recognised Aircraft Pneudraulic Trade Course (military or civilian)
  • Demonstrable experience maintaining aircraft pneumatic and hydraulic systems
  • Ability to interpret and work from engineering drawings, blueprints, wiring diagrams, and technical publications
  • Strong understanding of aircraft maintenance procedures and engineering documentation
  • Experience working within military or commercial aviation maintenance environments
  • Current driving licence
