Job summary

MBRF in Saudi Arabia is seeking an experienced mechanical/electrical professional to join our global food projects team. You will work on greenfield and brownfield developments, reading drawings, evaluating quotes, and coordinating with contractors. English business proficiency is required; Arabic is a plus.

Diploma or Bachelor’s in mechanical/electrical engineering is preferred. Ideal candidates bring strong teamwork, safety mindset, and a drive for continuous improvement to help us deliver

Responsibilities

• Lead and support greenfield and brownfield projects in the food sector.
• Oversee project cost and quality management for civil, electrical and mechanical works.
• Read engineering drawings, prepare RFPs, evaluate quotations and manage contractors.
• Plan production line layouts and address operational, logistics and process challenges.
• Ensure compliance with food safety requirements and industry standards.
• Utilize SAP PM for plant maintenance and related tasks.
• Draft basic AutoCAD drawings and collaborate with cross-functional teams.
• Work effectively in a multicultural environment with strong teamwork.

What will you be doing at MBRF?

• Experience in food industry projects, including Greenfield and Brownfield developments.
• Strong knowledge of civil, electrical, and mechanical project cost and quality management.
• Ability to read engineering drawings and prepare RFPs, evaluate quotations, and manage contractors.
• Skilled in production line layout planning and solving operational, logistics, and process-related challenges.
• Basic understanding of food processing technology and food safety requirements.
• Familiarity with SAP PM (Plant Maintenance) module.
• Knowledge of utility systems, including steam, water, and compressed air projects.
• Basic AutoCAD drafting skills.
• Flexible, organized, and capable of working effectively in a multicultural environment.

• Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical related field;
• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering will be considered as an advantage.
