Job summary

Perini Management Services, Inc. seeks a Project Superintendent for our Tabuk, Saudi Arabia project. You will schedule, coordinate and supervise construction work, oversee subcontractors and crafts, and ensure work aligns with drawings, specs, and schedule.

The role requires 10+ years as a superintendent on medium-sized projects, 5+ years safety management, OSHA 30 training, and experience with Federal Government clients or US Army Corps projects. Relocation to Tabuk is required.

Qualifications

• 10+ years as a Superintendent on medium-sized projects.
• 5+ years of experience managing construction safety requirements.
• OSHA 30 training completed with annual safety training.
• Experience with U.S. construction methods, techniques, and standards.
• Experience with Federal Government Clients preferred (US Army Corps projects).
• Relocation to Tabuk, Saudi Arabia is required.

• Coordinate work with other crafts, departments, or contractors.
• Maintain liaison with engineering, estimating, and planning to ensure compliance with drawings and schedule.
• Identify and help resolve construction problems and site condition issues.
• Develop the Project Execution Schedule and site logistics with Project Management.
• Monitor schedule progress and prepare two-week look-ahead schedules.
• Ensure safety and quality control program requirements are followed and documented.

As the Project Superintendent at Perini Management Services, reporting to the Project Manager, you will have the opportunity to:

Schedule, coordinate and supervise the construction work, including supervision and of craft subcontractor/ employee activities.

Plan and supervise Subcontractor and/or craft activities by determining method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities equipment, temporary power sources, work schedule and documenting actual hours worked.

Coordinate assigned work with work of different crafts, company departments, or other contractors.

Maintain liaison with engineering, estimating, and planning to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule.

Identify and assist in resolving construction problems such as lack of productivity, work interfaces, conflicts in drawings & site conditions, etc.

Assist Project Management with the development of the Project Execution Schedule, site logistics, project procedures, standards, etc.

Monitor Schedule Progress Daily, Weekly, Monthly

Develop two-week look ahead schedules and review with construction team weekly.

Monitor craft compliance with project Safety and Quality Control program requirements; document and ensure corrective measures are implemented.

Review all safety documentation to ensure records and reports are complete, accurate and submitted per established procedures.

Perform daily inspections of trades/work areas and correct unsafe conditions and behaviors as they are discovered.

Facilitates weekly toolbox talk meetings and presents safety updates to clients during progress meetings.

Requirements:

Ten or more years in work experience in a Superintendent position (e.g., scheduling, ordering, field supervision, quality control, safety, and production of all phases in construction) on medium-sized projects is required with four or more years (or equivalent) field or trade work experience in the construction industry.

Five years of experience managing construction safety requirements.

Have completed the OSHA 30 training requirements, with documented safety training annually.

Knowledge, skills and experience with U.S. construction methods, techniques, and standards.

Experience with Federal Government Clients is required.

Experience on U.S. Army Corps of Engineer projects is preferred.

Relocation to the project site at Tabuk, Saudi Arabia is required.
