Client of Michael Page is seeking a seasoned Project Manager with more than 20 years in civil and road infrastructure to lead multidisciplinary teams on a major program in Saudi Arabia. You will oversee planning, design coordination, procurement interfaces and cost control to deliver on time and within budget.

The role requires PMP or Prince2, advanced English, and a track record of supervising complex construction projects as a consultant.

Qualifikationen

• Master's degree in civil engineering or related field preferred.
• Chartered membership and professional certifications highly regarded.

Job Description

• Assist the Project Director in the running of the project
• Advise on the sufficiency of the design and information supplied and identify any outstanding or conflicting design issues
• Liaise with all disciplines Managers Site Team leaders to ensure effective communication on project matters
• Develop and implement procedures for planning managing supervising construction works and controlling Project costs
• Review approval of technical documents submitted to the Client by the Contractors
• Monitoring overall progress and use of resources initiating corrective actions where necessary
• Monitoring the Project deliverables meet with the agreed standards and satisfy stakeholder requirements at each stage of the project
• Monitoring overall project stakeholder relationships and adjusting strategies and plans for engaging stakeholders
• Applying change control and configuration management processes
• Reporting through agreed lines on project progress through highlight reports and end-stage assessments
• Maintaining an awareness of potential interdependencies with other projects and their impact
• Contribute to the resolution of technical issues during the lifecycle of the project
• Take a proactive role in stablishing assessing and evaluating project management processes sharing knowledge identifying opportunities and providing advice to help improve processes and procedures
• Apply analytical and project management skills as well as technical writing skills at a task level

Qualifications

• Master's degree in civil engineering, construction engineering, engineering management or related field preferred, membership of chartered institution.
• Professional Certifications: Project Management Professional (PMP), PRINCE2 or related certification.
• Years of Experience: over 20 years; and as Project Manager over 15 years.
• Proved experience in supervising the construction of complex projects, mainly as a Consultant.
• Candidates with exclusive contractors experience will not be taken into consideration.
• At least experience in 1 or more projects of ROADS.
• Candidates without clear ROAD experience will not be taken into consideration.
• Advanced level of English language.
• Basic Knowledge of Arabic Language is a plus.
• Report writing skills, social skills, communication, teamwork, problem solving, autonomy, flexibility, and technical rigor.
• Willingness to work in a multinational environment firm.
