Job summary

Burjline Builders is seeking a Project Manager – Agriculture to lead large-scale farming projects from planning through execution in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

You will oversee budgets, schedules, irrigation and greenhouse operations, coordinating with engineers, agronomists, contractors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and compliance with safety and environmental standards.

The ideal candidate has 7–12 years of experience in agriculture projects and is proficient with MS Project or Primavera.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, Horticulture, or related field.
• 7–12 years of experience in managing agricultural or farming projects.
• Experience in large-scale farming, crop production, greenhouse operations, irrigation projects, or agricultural development.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor agricultural projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Manage large-scale farming operations including crop production, greenhouse projects, irrigation systems, and infrastructure.
• Develop project schedules, budgets, and resource allocation plans.
• Coordinate with farm managers, agronomists, engineers, contractors, suppliers, and consultants throughout the project lifecycle.
• Monitor progress and implement corrective actions to achieve objectives.
• Ensure compliance with agricultural regulations, environmental standards, and health & safety requirements.
• Oversee procurement of equipment, materials, and services.
• Oversee installation and commissioning of irrigation systems, greenhouses, and other facilities.
• Analyze project performance, prepare progress reports, and present updates to senior management.
• Identify opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and sustainability.

About The Role

We are seeking an experienced Project Manager – Agriculture to lead and manage agricultural projects from planning through execution. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in large-scale farming operations, crop production, greenhouse management, irrigation systems, and agricultural infrastructure. The successful candidate will oversee project planning, resource management, budgets, and timelines while ensuring operational efficiency, sustainability, and compliance with industry best practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan, execute, and monitor agricultural projects, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
• Manage large-scale farming operations, including crop production, greenhouse projects, irrigation systems, and agricultural infrastructure.

Qualifications & Experience

• Bachelor's degree in Agriculture, Agricultural Engineering, Agronomy, Horticulture, or a related field.
• 7–12 years of experience managing agricultural or farming projects.
• Proven experience in large-scale farming, crop production, greenhouse operations, irrigation projects, or agricultural development.
• Strong understanding of modern farming practices, irrigation systems, soil management, and agricultural technologies.
• Experience managing project budgets, schedules, contractors, and multidisciplinary teams.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Strong analytical, planning, and problem-solving abilities.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management software (MS Project, Primavera, or equivalent).
• Experience working in the GCC, particularly Saudi Arabia, is highly desirable.
