Project Management Director – Energy

Responsibilities
  • Oversee and direct all project management activities for construction projects from initiation to completion.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage a team of project managers, ensuring high performance and professional development.
  • Collaborate with clients, architects, engineers, contractors, and subcontractors to define project objectives, scope, and deliverables.
  • Ensure full alignment with client requirements, architectural designs, and engineering specifications.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for all project-related communications with clients and stakeholders.
  • Develop comprehensive project plans covering timelines, budgets, resource allocation, procurement, and risk management.
  • Assess, allocate, and optimise project resources, including labour, materials, equipment, and subcontractors, to maximise efficiency and control costs.
  • Coordinate with procurement and HR teams to secure required resources and project support.
  • Identify project risks, issues, and constraints such as safety concerns, design conflicts, and supply chain disruptions.
  • Develop and implement risk mitigation strategies and contingency plans to ensure uninterrupted project delivery.

Strong understanding of ERP systems (Oracle ERP), cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), and integration technologies.

Experience in cloud transformation, technology refresh, and application migration initiatives.

Solid knowledge of SDLC, data architecture, analytics, and AI/ML‑driven solutions.

Industry expertise in telecom and utilities, including smart metering and IoT projects.

Strong governance, stakeholder management, risk control, and compliance expertise (ITIL, ISO 20000, PMP/PMI).

Proven financial leadership in budgeting, forecasting, and cost control.

Skilled in executive reporting, dashboards, presales support, and driving delivery excellence through high‑performing teams.
