Job summary

Mohammad Al-Habib Real Estate Investment Company is seeking a Project Director to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of major towers projects in Riyadh and Makkah. The role demands strong leadership, stakeholder management, and commercial acumen to meet safety, schedule, budget, and quality targets.

You will lead the site organization across construction, engineering, safety, and procurement, liaise with authorities, chair progress meetings, and report to executive management on risk

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
• Minimum 15 years of relevant construction experience.
• Experience delivering large-scale tower/high-rise or mega projects in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi construction regulations, permitting processes, and labor laws.
• Proven leadership of multidisciplinary project teams.
• Excellent stakeholder management, negotiation, and communication skills.
• Strong commercial, contractual, and risk management capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Hold overall responsibility for successful delivery of the towers project in the Riyadh region.
• Act as the primary point of contact with the client, consultants, government authorities, and other stakeholders in the Riyadh region.
• Lead and direct the entire site organization, including construction, engineering, safety, quality, procurement, planning, logistics, and administrative functions.
• Liaise with local Riyadh authorities and project stakeholders to secure permits and approvals required for the project.
• Chair project progress meetings, review critical path activities, and drive corrective actions for schedule or cost deviations.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, Saudi labor law, and applicable local regulations.
• Manage project risk, resolve disputes, and make key strategic decisions at the site level.
• Oversee resource planning and mobilization of site personnel, equipment, and subcontractors.
• Report project status, risks, and forecasts to executive management on a regular basis.

Role Summary:

• Hold overall responsibility for successful delivery of the towers project in the Riyadh region, safeguarding time, cost, quality, and safety objectives.
• Act as the primary point of contact with the client, consultants, government authorities, and other stakeholders in the Riyadh region.
• Lead and direct the entire site organization, including construction, engineering, safety, quality, procurement, planning, logistics, and administrative functions.
• Liaise with local Riyadh authorities (municipality, Civil Defense, security agencies) and relevant project stakeholders to secure permits and approvals required for the project.
• Chair project progress meetings, review critical path activities, and drive corrective actions for schedule or cost deviations.
• Ensure compliance with contractual obligations, Saudi labor law, and applicable local regulations.
• Manage project risk, resolve disputes, and make key strategic decisions at the site level.
• Oversee resource planning and mobilization of site personnel, equipment, and subcontractors.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, Architectural Engineering, or a related discipline (Master’s degree preferred).

• Demonstrated experience delivering large-scale tower/high-rise projects or Mega Projects in Saudi Arabia.
• Strong knowledge of Saudi construction regulations, permitting processes, and labor laws.
• Proven leadership experience managing multidisciplinary project teams.
