Job summary

Confidential Company is seeking a Project Director to lead a luxury hotel development from pre-construction through handover. You will oversee engineering, construction, planning, procurement, contracts, quality, HSE, and stakeholder management to meet client requirements and international hospitality standards.

Responsibilities include strategic leadership, client engagement, budget and risk management, and driving on-time, on-budget delivery with a high-performance team.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field.
• Master's degree is advantageous.
• PMP, MRICS or CIOB or equivalent certification preferred.
• Minimum 20 years in construction project management with mega contractors.
• At least 10 years in senior leadership managing large hospitality or mixed-use developments.
• Experience with luxury hotel/country-brand operators is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and overall direction for the project team.
• Manage client and stakeholder relationships throughout the lifecycle.
• Oversee all construction activities from mobilization to handover.
• Control budgets, forecasts, cash flow and cost; manage commercial risks.
• Develop and enforce detailed project schedules with KPIs.
• Oversee procurement strategies and subcontract awards.
• Ensure quality management and compliance with luxury standards.
• Promote HSE, lead risk mitigation, and ensure safety compliance.
• Lead performance evaluations and succession planning across teams.
• Drive project profitability while maintaining client satisfaction.
