The Project Controls Analyst - Planning and Cost provides the project team with dependable information on schedule progress, financial performance, milestones, risks, and approved changes. The role converts data from engineering, construction, and management teams into practical controls information that supports timely intervention when performance begins to deviate from plan. By maintaining schedules, tracking expenditures, and reconciling actual progress with reported data, the analyst helps improve forecasting accuracy and strengthens management visibility across the project lifecycle. * Bachelor 's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
* Equivalent professional experience with strong practical project controls capability may also be considered.
* Minimum 3 years of progressive experience in project controls, scheduling, planning, or cost estimation.
* Previous exposure to construction, infrastructure, or engineering project environments.
* Practical working knowledge of Primavera P6 or MS Project.
* Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for analysing and presenting project information.
* Understanding of baseline schedules, activity updates, milestones, and progress measurement.
* Familiarity with project budgets, commitments, expenditures, forecasts, and variance analysis.
* Ability to recognize inconsistencies between reported progress and underlying project data.
* Basic understanding of project risk and change control processes.
* Strong numerical accuracy and attention to detail.
* Effective organizational skills when working with several reporting deadlines simultaneously.
* Ability to communicate confidently with project managers, engineers, and site personnel.
* Strong written and verbal communication skills in Arabic and English.
