Job summary

FlyAkeed is seeking a Product Design Lead to define the design vision, strategy, and execution across our travel platform. You will lead end‑to‑end product design, mentor designers, establish scalable design systems, and collaborate with Product and Engineering to deliver exceptional user experiences.

You will conduct user research, translate insights into flows and interfaces, create prototypes and a polished UI, and ensure accessibility and consistency.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Product Design, UX/UI Design, or a related role.
• Proven experience leading projects or mentoring designers.
• Strong portfolio demonstrating end‑to‑end product design for web and mobile.
• Expertise in Figma, prototyping, interaction design, design tokens and design systems.
• Familiarity with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, Tailwind, React) and the ability to communicate effectively with engineers.
• Experience with AI-powered design-to-code workflows, including tools such as Codex, Cursor, or Claude Code.
• Hands‑on experience with Storybook.
• Comfortable reviewing implementation, contributing to design quality in code, and collaborating throughout the development process.
• Excellent communication, leadership, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile product teams.

About the Role

• Experience with AI-powered design-to-code workflows, including tools such as Codex, Cursor, or Claude Code.
• Hands‑on experience with Storybook.
• Comfortable reviewing implementation, contributing to design quality in code, and collaborating throughout the development process.
• Excellent communication, leadership, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Experience working in Agile product teams.

Nice to Have

• Experience designing AI-native products or developer tools.
• Knowledge of accessibility standards (WCAG) and inclusive design.
