Job summary

Hudson Manpower represents a reputed Oil & Gas company seeking an experienced Procurement Officer for a Workshop in Saudi Arabia. The role requires sourcing and purchasing materials, managing RFQs, supplier evaluations, and ensuring timely delivery to support project schedules.

Candidates should have 3–8 years in industrial fabrication or EPC contexts, with knowledge of ASME/API standards, MTCs, and strong negotiation skills. Salary SAR 3500–5000 with food, accommodation, and transport provided.

Qualifications

• Diploma or BE in Mechanical engineering preferred.
• 3–8 years experience in oil & gas fabrication procurement.
• Experience with ASME/API standards and MTC requirements.
• Sourcing plates, pipes, fittings, valves, and welding consumables.
• Coordinate with Engineering/QA/QC/Stores/Finance/Projects for specs and approvals.

Responsibilities

• Handle RFQs, supplier evaluation, and commercial comparisons.
• Prepare purchase orders and follow up deliveries to meet schedules.
• Coordinate material specs, inspections, and approvals with project teams.
• Ensure material traceability and vendor documentation compliance.

Job description

We currently have an urgent requirement for the position of *Procurement Officer* for reputed Oil & Gas Company for their Workshop Requirement in *Saudi Arabia*

Procurement Officer with 3–8 years of experience in industrial fabrication, Oil & Gas, pressure vessels, heat exchangers, structural steel, and EPC projects, preferably supporting Saudi Aramco, SABIC, and major EPC clients. Responsible for sourcing and purchasing plates, pipes, fittings, flanges, welding consumables, structural materials, equipment, tools, and project-specific items as per approved MTOs, specifications, and project requirements. Handles RFQs, supplier evaluation, technical and commercial comparisons, negotiations, purchase orders, delivery follow-up, and expediting to ensure materials are available as per project schedules. Coordinates closely with Engineering, QA/QC, Stores, Finance, and Project teams for material specifications, approvals, inspection requirements, documentation, and timely delivery. Must have good knowledge of material grades, ASME/API standards, MTC requirements, material traceability, vendor documentation, and procurement procedures, with strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
