Job summary

Environment Icon, a Saudi-based construction services company, is seeking a Procurement Specialist to extract material quantities from architectural and interior drawings, source and negotiate with suppliers, and manage RFQs and vendor relations for fit-out projects. The role requires strong drawing interpretation, GCC market knowledge, and Fluent English with Arabic as a plus.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Architecture required.
• 3-7 years of procurement experience.
• Ability to read and interpret architectural/interior drawings.
• Familiarity with fit-out materials, finishes and joinery specs.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD/Revit for drawing review and MS Excel; ERP/procurement software a plus.
• Knowledge of Saudi/GCC supplier market and local regulations.
• Strong negotiation, vendor management and cross-functional coordination skills.
• Fluent in English; Arabic is a strong advantage.

Responsibilities

• Review architectural and interior drawings/BOQs to extract material and quantity requirements for procurement.
• Source, evaluate, and negotiate with suppliers and subcontractors for finishes, joinery, and fit-out materials.
• Prepare and issue RFQs, compare offers, and recommend vendors.
• Verify quotes match design intent, finishes schedules, and approved samples/mock-ups.
• Coordinate with design and site teams to resolve specification conflicts and value-engineering options.
• Track lead times, delivery schedules, and material submittals against the project program.
• Maintain vendor databases, pricing records, and approved material/supplier lists.
• Prepare purchase orders, monitor budget vs. actual costs, and support cost reporting.
• Support technical clarifications with suppliers on behalf of the design/engineering team.
