Job summary

BeWunder is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Manager to support its new project in Saudi Arabia. This freelance role covers sourcing, tendering, negotiating, and managing subcontracted construction and specialist services to ensure cost‑effective procurement and on‑time delivery.

You will lead supplier evaluations, negotiate contracts, oversee purchase orders and supplier performance, and coordinate with project teams and logistics to support successful project execution.

Qualifications

• 5+ years procurement experience in construction, fit-out, AV, exhibitions, events, or turnkey projects.
• Bachelor's degree in business, supply chain, engineering, or related field.
• Experience onsite procurement support to project teams ensuring timely sourcing and delivery.
• Strong experience managing subcontractors, supplier sourcing, RFQs, negotiations, and contract administration.
• Hands-on PO creation and management in ERP systems (EasyJob or similar).
• Supplier prequalification and market benchmarking for cost-effective sourcing.
• Knowledge of construction trades, fit-out works, AV systems, and subcontracted scopes.
• Experience in tender processes, bid evaluations, and supplier selection to meet timelines.

• Identify cost-saving opportunities and mitigate procurement risks.
• Coordinate with logistics to support project execution.

Your mission

As a highly skilled and commercially driven Procurement Manager, you will play an important role in supporting BeWunder newest project in Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for sourcing, tendering, negotiating, and managing subcontracted construction and specialist services, ensuring cost-effective procurement solutions while maintaining the highest standards of quality and project delivery.

Your mission

As a highly skilled and commercially driven Procurement Manager, you will play an important role in supporting BeWunder newest project in Saudi Arabia. You will be responsible for sourcing, tendering, negotiating, and managing subcontracted construction and specialist services, ensuring cost-effective procurement solutions while maintaining the highest standards of quality and project delivery.

This is a temporary freelance role for the below-mentioned duration. Candidates must have all required documentation, permits and/or visas in place to legally work in Saudi Arabia for the duration of the assignment.

Duration: October 2026-end of July 2027.

• Manage procurement of subcontracted services, materials, equipment, rental solutions, and AV equipment for a project in Riyadh.
• Serve as the main procurement point of contact for the project, supporting project planning, budgeting and risk management.
• Develop and implement cost-effective procurement strategies, frameworks, and project‑specific commercial agreements.
• Build, maintain, and manage relationships with suppliers, subcontractors, manufacturers, and service providers across KSA and the region.
• Lead end-to-end tender processes, supplier evaluations, negotiations, and contract management to ensure best value and compliance.
• Oversee purchase orders, supplier performance, subcontractor coordination, and timely delivery of goods and services.
• Identify cost‑saving opportunities, mitigate procurement and supply chain risks, and ensure quality standards are maintained.
• Maintain procurement documentation, conduct commercial evaluations, and coordinate with logistics to support successful project execution.

Your profile

• 5+ years of procurement experience supporting construction, fit‑out, AV, exhibitions, events, or turnkey project environments.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience providing onsite procurement support to project teams, ensuring timely sourcing and delivery of materials, equipment, and subcontracted services.
• Strong experience managing subcontractors, supplier sourcing, RFQs, commercial negotiations, and contract administration throughout project execution.
• Hands‑on experience raising and managing POs in EasyJob or similar ERP/ procurement systems.
• Conduct supplier and subcontractor research, prequalification, and market benchmarking to identify suitable vendors and cost‑effective solutions.
• Solid understanding of construction trades, fit‑out works, AV systems, and subcontracted scopes within project‑based environments.
• Experience managing tender processes, bid evaluations, supplier selection, and procurement documentation while maintaining project timelines and budgets.
• Good knowledge of KSA procurement practices, supplier networks, and local market requirements. Existing vendor relationships in KSA are highly desirable.
• Strong organizational, communication, and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to coordinate effectively with project managers, technical teams, suppliers, and subcontractors.
• Fluent in English; Arabic language skills are a plus.
• Available to work on a fixed‑term contract basis and support project requirements onsite as needed.
