Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Monitor purchase orders and supplier commitments from order placement through delivery and confirm dates, quantities, specs, and documentation align with requirements.
• Coordinate with suppliers and internal stakeholders to obtain regular delivery updates and maintain visibility of order status and delivery dates.
• Expedite overdue or at‑risk orders by following up with suppliers and coordinating corrective actions to ensure timely resolution.
• Review procurement documentation and supplier confirmations for completeness and highlight discrepancies or delivery constraints for action.
• Maintain accurate PO status records and supplier commitments within approved procurement systems.
• Escalate significant delays or risks through appropriate channels and support resolution per procedures.
• Coordinate shipment, inspection, receipt, and delivery requirements to progress procurement activities on schedule.
• Support supplier performance monitoring by maintaining expediting data and contributing to performance reviews.
• Prepare regular expediting reports highlighting progress, overdue items, risks, bottlenecks, and required actions.
• Ensure expediting activities comply with procurement policies, procedures, and contractual requirements into applicable standards.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of expediting processes by identifying tracking, communication, and reporting improvements.

Education
