Job summary

International Building Systems Factory (IBSF) is seeking an experienced procurement professional to source materials, equipment, and services for projects, ensuring timely delivery, cost efficiency, and adherence to quality standards. The role requires a Civil/Mechanical/Structural engineering background, 5+ years in procurement, strong SAP MM experience, and excellent English; Arabic is a plus.

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum 5 years procurement experience in manufacturing.
• Experience in GCC market is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of steel raw materials, supplier sourcing, bid evaluation, negotiation and contract management.
• Strong experience in SAP MM / Procurement and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent English communication; Arabic an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and manage reliable suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and issue RFQs, RFIs, and RFPs, and conduct bid evaluations.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery conditions to achieve cost savings.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and agreements through SAP.
• Monitor and expedite deliveries to meet project and production schedules.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, Quality Control, and Logistics teams.
• Conduct market analysis, assess supplier performance, and identify supply risks.
• Maintain procurement records and monitor key performance indicators.

About the Role

IBSF is looking for an experienced procurement professional to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for sourcing and procuring materials, equipment, and services to meet business and project requirements, ensuring timely delivery, competitive pricing, and compliance with quality standards and company policies.

Key Responsibilities

• Identify, evaluate, and manage reliable suppliers and subcontractors.
• Prepare and issue RFQs, RFIs, and RFPs, and conduct technical and commercial bid evaluations.
• Negotiate pricing, payment terms, and delivery conditions to achieve cost savings without compromising quality.
• Prepare and process purchase orders and agreements through SAP.
• Monitor and expedite deliveries to meet project and production schedules.
• Coordinate with Engineering, Project Management, Quality Control, and Logistics teams.
• Conduct market analysis, assess supplier performance, and identify potential supply chain risks.
• Maintain accurate procurement records and monitor key procurement performance indicators.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, preferably Civil, Mechanical, or Structural Engineering.
• Minimum 5 years of procurement experience in manufacturing, preferably in the steel or construction industry.
• Experience in the GCC market is an advantage.
• Strong knowledge of steel raw materials, supplier sourcing, bid evaluation, negotiation, and contract management.
• Strong experience in SAP MM / Procurement and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical, communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent English communication skills; Arabic is an advantage.
• Professional procurement certifications such as CIPS, CPSM, or CPP are preferred
