Schema is seeking a Chemical Engineer to provide process and engineering support across production units in Saudi Arabia. The role emphasizes improving process capability, efficiency, and quality while maintaining cost discipline and adherence to EHS standards.

You will lead cost control efforts, support plant turnarounds, and work with licensing and technical teams to implement changes. Strong problem solving and collaboration skills are essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide engineering and process expertise to improve efficiency and quality within production budget.
• Identify debottlenecks and profit opportunities with licensing and technical support groups.
• Manage chemical, catalyst, and additives processes including BOMs, consumption trends and delivery schedules.
• Support plant commissioning and turnaround activities.
• Lead MOC process for unit changes and update SOPs accordingly.
• Prepare operating and capital expense budgets; liaise between project engineering and operations.
• Monitor monthly costs to ensure budgeted projections are followed.
• Coordinate shutdowns and startups with TA planning for operational tasks.
• Determine product specifications with stakeholders and address customer complaints with root-cix and corrective actions.
• Participate in HAZOP/LOPA reviews and support safety and quality policies.
