Job summary

Wakeb_Data seeks a Principal Software Engineer to lead design, development, and integration of complex software systems for C2, C4I and Air Defense solutions. You will combine hands-on engineering with technical leadership and mentoring across teams.

Responsibilities include system integration with radars and weapon systems, driving code quality, and ensuring real-time performance and security. Travel to customer sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Computer Engineering, Telecommunications Engineering, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years of software development experience, including at least 5 years in Defense, C2/C4I, or Air Defense systems.
• Proven technical leadership and hands-on system integration experience in mission-critical environments.
• Expert knowledge of Java and/or modern C++, distributed systems, networking protocols, and software architecture.

Responsibilities

Education
