Job summary

Virtuthinko W. L is seeking an experienced Industrial Cybersecurity Engineer to deliver advanced security services for Process Control Networks across industries such as Oil & Gas, Power, and Metals.

You will consult, design, troubleshoot, and implement security solutions for complex industrial environments. The role requires broad expertise in security networking, risk analysis, and project leadership, with frequent customer interaction and travel.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field.
• 12+ years of experience in industrial automation network systems.
• CCNA and CCNP certifications.
• Cybersecurity risk analysis experience.
• 10+ years leading security projects.
• Linux and Windows security fundamentals.
• CISSP or equivalent certification.
• GICSP certification would be advantageous.

Provides advanced onsite and offsite cybersecurity services for Industrial Control Systems (ICS/OT), supporting customers with complex industrial network solutions, including consulting, troubleshooting, implementation, and high-level security assessments.

This role is responsible for delivering advanced cybersecurity services for industrial Process Control Networks, supporting customers across industries such as Oil & Gas, Hydrocarbon Processing, Power Generation, Pulp, Paper & Printing, Petrochemicals, Life Sciences, and Metals, Minerals & Mining. The position involves consulting, troubleshooting, network design and implementation, security assessments, and other cybersecurity engineering services for complex industrial environments.

Responsibilities

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field


• Minimum 12 years of experience in industrial automation network systems

Must have:

• CCNA and CCNP certifications


• Cybersecurity risk analysis experience


• 10+ years industrial networking experience


• Linux and Windows security fundamentals


• 10+ years leading security projects


• Strong virtualization experience (VCP)


• 10+ years performing audits and assessments


• Familiarity with industrial site safety requirements


• 10+ years experience in industrial process control environments


• Microsoft technologies: Active Directory, DNS, WSUS, Terminal Server


• Experience with LAN/WAN architectures and Purdue IC S model


• Process control system design and implementation knowledge


• Experience designing and optimizing complex LAN environments


• SIEM experience (Splunk, ArcSight, Tripwire)


• GICSP certification


• Cisco Certified Network / Design / Security Professional (at least one)


• Firewall experience (Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto, Fortinet)


• Experience delivering cybersecurity/network/system services at customer sites


• CISSP or equivalent certification


• Experience with anti-virus systems, backup & restore, network management, whitelisting


• Knowledge of industry standards: NIST, NCA, IEC-62443, ISO 27001


• Excellent troubleshooting skills for complex systems and integrations
