Job description

We are looking for a Cybersecurity Engineer who combines strong technical security expertise with client-facing and project coordination skills. This role spans pre-sales, implementation, ongoing operations, and managed security services; ideal for someone who enjoys both hands-on technical work and building relationships with clients and vendors.

Responsibilities

• Pre-Sales Support: Partner with the sales team on technical scoping calls, solution design, and proposal development; help translate client security requirements into actionable technical recommendations.
• Project Implementation: Lead and execute the deployment of cybersecurity solutions (e.g., firewalls, SIEM, endpoint protection, IAM, etc) for client environments, ensuring solutions are configured per best practices and client requirements.
• Operational Activities / Managed Security Services: Support day-to-day MSS operations including monitoring, alert triage/response, incident handling, patching/updates, health checks, and maintenance of deployed security solutions; ensure SLAs are met for managed clients.
• Client Support: Serve as a technical point of contact for clients post-implementation, troubleshooting issues, answering security-related questions, and ensuring high client satisfaction.
• Vendor Coordination & Management: Liaise with technology vendors on product issues, licensing, renewals, and escalations; maintain strong working relationships with key vendor partners.
• Project Management: Track project timelines, deliverables, and milestones for security implementations; flag risks and coordinate resources to keep projects on schedule.
• Client Communication: Provide regular status updates, prepare documentation/reports, and communicate technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity engineering or a related technical role
• Relevant university degree and certifications
• Hands-on experience with security technologies: SIEM, EDR, Firewalls, NDR, etc
• Hand-on experience with penetration testing
• Experience in a managed security services (MSS) or SOC environment; monitoring, alert triage, incident response
• Experience supporting pre-sales or solution engineering activities is a plus
• Strong understanding of networking and security fundamentals
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with comfort presenting to clients
• Experience coordinating with third-party vendors
• Experience with SIEM/SOAR platforms and ticketing systems used for MSS operations is a plus
