Job summary

Parsons is seeking a CAD Operator for power utilities in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia. The candidate will produce accurate CAD drawings for transmission lines, substations, and civil works, following utility standards and project requirements.

The ideal candidate has a minimum of six years CAD drafting experience, with proficiency in AutoCAD and related tools, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers and field staff in a fast-paced infrastructure environment.

Qualifications

• Minimum 6 years CAD drafting experience.
• Experience in power utilities, transmission and distribution projects, substations, or related infrastructure preferred.
• Strong proficiency in CAD software and drawing standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and revise CAD drawings for overhead and underground transmission routes, substations, duct banks, manholes and vaults.
• Develop plan, profile, sections, layouts and single-line diagrams in accordance with project requirements.
• Convert engineer markups and field notes into construction-ready drawings.
• Maintain drawing templates, title blocks, symbols, and libraries following company standards.
• Coordinate with engineers, designers and field staff to resolve drafting issues and meet deadlines.
• Package drawing sets for design submissions, permit applications and as-built documentation.
