Datamatics Technologies in KSA is seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to build, optimize, and maintain enterprise dashboards and reports. The role emphasizes end-to-end report development, especially in an on-prem PBIRS environment.

The ideal candidate will have strong Power BI development skills, DAX, data modeling, and best practices in enterprise reporting to deliver scalable analytics solutions for our business insights.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports.
• Create complex DAX measures and calculations.
• Use Power Query (M) for data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and integration.
• Develop and manage data models including star schemas, fact and dimension tables, relationships, KPIs, and business logic.
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and reporting.
• Connect and integrate Power BI reports with enterprise databases, data warehouses, and other supported data sources.
• Create and maintain JSON theme files, reusable report templates, and visualization standards.
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and manage report access, permissions, and secure data connectivity.
• Optimize report performance using DAX Studio, Performance Analyzer, and best practices for semantic modeling.
• Publish, deploy, maintain, and troubleshoot reports within Power BI Report Server (PBIRS).
• Perform data reconciliation, functional testing, regression testing, and production support activities.
• Troubleshoot report issues and ensure data accuracy, reliability, and performance.
• Support report migration, source connection updates, and modernization initiatives while preserving existing functionality.
• Maintain technical documentation including KPIs, calculations, data mappings, dependencies, and report configurations.

Role Overview

We are seeking a skilled Power BI Developer with strong expertise in building, optimizing, and maintaining enterprise dashboards and reports. The ideal candidate will be capable of independently managing end-to-end report development and support activities, preferably within an on-premises Power BI Report Server (PBIRS) environment.

The role requires strong proficiency in Power BI development, DAX, data modeling, report optimization, and enterprise reporting best practices to deliver scalable and business-driven analytics solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports using advanced visualizations, bookmarks, drill-throughs, tooltips, conditional formatting, and dynamic navigation
• Create complex DAX measures, calculated columns, and business calculations to support reporting and analytical requirements
• Utilize Power Query (M) for data extraction, transformation, cleansing, and integration
• Develop and manage data models including star schemas, fact and dimension tables, relationships, KPIs, and business logic
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, validation, and reporting purposes
• Connect and integrate Power BI reports with enterprise databases, data warehouses, and other supported data sources
