Job summary

Datamatics Technologies in Saudi Arabia is seeking a skilled Power BI Developer to design, build and maintain enterprise dashboards and reports. The role emphasizes end-to-end development within an on-prem PBIRS environment, advanced data modeling, and performance optimization to deliver scalable analytics for business users.

You will work with SQL databases and enterprise data sources, implement Row-Level Security, publish and troubleshoot reports, and ensure data accuracy and governance while

Qualifications

• Hands-on experience developing and supporting Power BI solutions in large-scale enterprise environments, including PBIRS.
• Proficiency in DAX data modeling and enterprise reporting best practices.
• Ability to manage end-to-end report development and support independently.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop and maintain interactive Power BI dashboards and reports using advanced visualizations, bookmarks, drill-throughs, tooltips, conditional formatting and dynamic navigation
• Create complex DAX measures, calculated columns and business calculations to support reporting and analytical requirements
• Utilize Power Query M for data extraction, transformation, cleansing and integration
• Develop and manage data models including star schemas, fact and dimension tables, relationships, KPIs and business logic
• Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction, validation and reporting purposes
• Connect and integrate Power BI reports with enterprise databases, data warehouses and other supported data sources
• Create and maintain JSON theme files, reusable report templates and visualization standards
• Implement Row-Level Security (RLS) and manage report access permissions and secure data connectivity
• Optimize report performance using DAX Studio, Performance Analyzer and best practices for semantic modeling
• Publish, deploy, maintain and troubleshoot reports within Power BI Report Server PBIRS
• Perform data reconciliation, functional testing, regression testing and production support activities
• Troubleshoot report issues and ensure data accuracy, reliability and performance
• Support report migration, source connection updates and modernization initiatives while preserving existing functionality
• Maintain technical documentation including KPIs, calculations, data mappings, dependencies and report configurations
