Job summary

BEC Arabia is recruiting a PMV - Tire Technician to service a diverse fleet of heavy construction equipment in Khobar. You will inspect, repair and maintain tires, ensuring equipment readiness and safety for Saudi infrastructure projects.

You will work within the Logistics Department, use tire changers, balancers and alignment machines, and adhere to ISO 45001/OSHA safety standards while supporting project timelines and site operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred with technical automotive/heavy equipment cert.
• Minimum of 5 years in tire maintenance and repair for heavy equipment/vehicles.
• Proficiency with tire-related tools and equipment including changers, balancers, and alignment machines.
• Strong knowledge of tire types, specifications, and maintenance for construction/industrial equipment.
• Familiarity with ISO 45001 and OSHA safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, diagnose and repair tires for a wide range of heavy equipment and vehicles.

About the Role BEC Arabia is seeking a skilled strong PMV - Tire Technician strong to join our Logistics Department in Khobar In this role you will be responsible for the inspection maintenance and repair of tires for a diverse fleet of heavy construction equipment vehicles and machinery As part of our Plant Machinery and Vehicle PMV team you will ensure the operational readiness and safety of our equipment which is critical to the success of our infrastructure and engineering projects across the Kingdom This position offers an exciting opportunity to work on some of Saudi Arabia s most iconic projects including mega-developments aligned with Vision 2030 You will collaborate with a team of experienced professionals in a fast-paced environment where your expertise will directly contribute to the efficiency and safety of our operations With a focus on continuous improvement and adherence to the highest industry standards this role provides a platform for professional growth and development within a leading organization

Key Responsibilities

• Inspect diagnose and repair tires for a wide range of heavy equipment vehicles and machinery
• Perform tire mounting dismounting balancing and alignment to ensure optimal performance and safety
• Conduct regular tire pressure checks and adjustments to prevent premature wear and ensure compliance with safety standards
• Monitor tire inventory levels and coordinate with the procurement team to ensure timely replenishment of stock
• Maintain detailed records of tire maintenance repairs and replacements using company-approved systems
• Identify and address potential tire-related issues such as uneven wear patterns punctures or sidewall damage
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and standards including the proper use of personal protective equipment PPE and adherence to ISO 45001 guidelines
• Collaborate with the PMV team to schedule and prioritize tire maintenance activities minimizing downtime and maximizing equipment availability
• Provide technical guidance and training to junior technicians on tire maintenance best practices
• Conduct on-site tire inspections and emergency repairs as needed to support project operations
• Stay updated on the latest tire technologies tools and industry trends to enhance service quality
• Ensure compliance with Saudi labor laws and company policies in all maintenance activities

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent technical certification in automotive or heavy equipment maintenance is preferred
• Minimum of strong 5 years of experience strong in tire maintenance and repair for heavy equipment and vehicles
• Proficiency in using tire-related tools and equipment such as tire changers balancers and alignment machines
• Strong knowledge of tire types specifications and maintenance practices for construction and industrial equipment
• Familiarity with safety standards and protocols including strong ISO 45001 strong and OSHA guidelines
• Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and schematics
• Physical fitness to perform tasks that require lifting bending and working in varying environmental conditions
• Valid Saudi driver s license

Preferred Qualifications

• Certification in heavy equipment maintenance or a related field
• Experience working in the construction or engineering industry
• Knowledge of tire management software or inventory systems
• Familiarity with strong Saudi Aramco Approved Vendor strong standards
• Previous experience in a multinational or large-scale project environment

Working Conditions

• Primarily based at BEC Arabia s PMV workshop in Khobar with occasional travel to project sites as required
• Work involves exposure to outdoor conditions including heat dust and noise typical of construction environments
• Use of personal protective equipment PPE is mandatory
• Standard working hours with occasional overtime or weekend work to meet project deadlines
• Hands-on role requiring physical activity including lifting and handling heavy equipment components
