Qualifications

• Diploma or technical certification in electrical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years as electrician in construction or heavy equipment.
• Proficient with diagnostic tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes.
• Knowledge of OSHA standards and SBC.

Responsabilités

• Inspect and diagnose electrical issues in heavy construction equipment incl. cranes, excavators, loaders.
• Perform routine maintenance on electrical systems to ensure safety and operation.
• Troubleshoot and repair faults, wiring issues, and control systems promptly.
• Install and upgrade electrical components as project needs require.
• Collaborate with PMV team to ensure equipment readiness and minimize downtime.
• Maintain records of repairs, inspections, and maintenance activities.
• Ensure SBC and OSHA safety standards compliance.
• Monitor and test electrical systems using meters, scopes, and diagnostic software.
• Train and mentor junior technicians on best practices and safety.
• Support emergency repairs and urgent maintenance requests.
• Coordinate with procurement to source essential electrical components.

Job Description

About the Role BEC Arabia is seeking a skilled PMV Electrician to join our Logistics Department in Khobar. As a PMV Electrician you will be responsible for the maintenance repair and troubleshooting of electrical systems in heavy construction equipment ensuring optimal performance and safety. This role is pivotal to supporting BEC Arabia's ambitious infrastructure projects including roads, highways and mega-developments aligned with Saudi Vision 2030. You will work closely with a team of experienced professionals in a fast-paced environment contributing to the operational efficiency of our Project Management Vehicle (PMV) fleet. Key Responsibilities

• Inspect and diagnose electrical issues in heavy construction equipment including cranes, excavators, and loaders

Proficiency in using diagnostic tools such as multimeters and oscilloscopes. Strong knowledge of electrical systems in heavy machinery and construction equipment. Familiarity with OSHA safety standards and Saudi Building Code (SBC). Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and technical manuals. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Valid Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) registration.
