Job summary

Arabian Ceramics سيراميك العربية is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to supervise troubleshooting and design/manufacture of plant mechanical systems. You will handle industrial systems like transmissions, gears, hydraulics and pneumatics, and coordinate with utilities and the technical department to keep equipment reliable.

Shift work and collaboration with the team are required. Minimum 2 years of experience and a Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering are expected.

Qualifications

Bachelor degree in Mechanical Engineering.
Minimum 2 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
Experience with industrial mechanical systems and maintenance.
Ability to work in shifts (3 shift work) and outside normal hours.

Responsibilities

Supervise troubleshooting of plant mechanical equipment and machinery.
Design and manufacture of mechanical systems.
Oversee industrial mechanical systems including transmission, drives, gears, bearings and gearboxes.
Work with hydraulics, pneumatics, boilers, chillers, air compressors and pumps.
Ensure timely maintenance and preventive maintenance programs.
Collaborate with Electrical Troubleshooting Section head and Utilities.
Analyze equipment performance, safety, and longevity.
Monitor and adjust mechanical systems using computers.
Support production operations to prevent disruptions.
