Overview

The Pilates Lead is responsible for the service standards, concept development and alignment, and education for the Group. This position requires exceptional expertise within Pilates delivery and education, strong leadership, organizational skills, and a deep understanding of member preferences and industry trends.

Job Responsibilities

• Administrative and Scheduling: Complete administrative tasks related to Pilates education, concept updates, and specific member inquiries promptly and efficiently, ensuring seamless operations and member experience. Work with the Group Exercise Leads Riyadh and Jeddah to design comprehensive Pilates group class schedules within the greater group class schedules in response to data and feedback.
• Quality Control and Feedback: Monitor the quality of Pilates classes and 1-2-1 sessions, providing constructive feedback and guidance to instructors as needed to maintain high standards of instruction.
• Training and Development: Organize and conduct scheduled training sessions and workshops for both Core Jeddah and Core Riyadh teams to enhance and align the skills and knowledge of all Pilates instructors, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and an inclusive work environment. Actively participate in training and development programs, maximizing opportunities for self-development and growth within the role.
• Program Innovation and Member Engagement: Continue to develop and deliver a CORE Pilates modular syllabus to ensure quality, availability, alignment, and development opportunities for all instructors. Continuously evaluate existing Pilates offerings, innovating and developing new and current programs to enhance member engagement and retention. Actively engage with members to gather feedback, understand their preferences, and ensure that the Pilates program meets their needs.
• Collaboration and Coordination: Collaborate with the marketing team to promote Pilates group exercise classes through various marketing channels and initiatives, driving member participation and retention. Coordinate with facility management and operations to ensure seamless execution of CORE Pilates programs and initiatives.
• Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Assist the Group Exercise Leads to monitor Pilates class attendance, member feedback, and Pilates coaches performance to make data-driven decisions for program optimization. Provide regular updates and reports to the Head of Group Exercise on the performance and progress of CORE Pilates exercise programs.
• Safety and Compliance: Ensure all Pilates activities comply with safety standards and club policies, including correct equipment setup and adherence to industry regulations.
• Leadership and Coaching: Lead by example by conducting outstanding and effective Pilates classes that deliver results and provide participants with a positive and motivating experience. Showcase and promote knowledge of CORE Pilates methodology and standards to ensure a comprehensive and effective workout experience for participants. Provide advice to participants on program and class procedures and policies as appropriate, ensuring clarity and adherence to club guidelines. Provide up to 25 hours per week of class and 1-2-1 instruction. Other hours to be distributed between admin, education, and self-development.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 7+ years experience as a Pilates Instructor

• Experience working within a high-end private Members Club
• Strong knowledge of a variety of Pilates concepts and specialist areas
