Job summary

You will draw blood, prepare samples for testing, label and store specimens, and maintain accurate patient records while adhering to infection control and safety standards in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Certification in phlebotomy preferred.
• Fluency in English is a must.
• Previous experience as a phlebotomist required.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic laboratory procedures.
• Ability to work quickly and accurately under pressure.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients and explain the blood-drawing procedure.
• Sterilize equipment and prepare necessary supplies.
• Identify the correct vein location for blood collection.
• Draw blood using appropriate techniques.
• Label and store samples correctly.
• Record patient information accurately.
• Follow infection control and safety procedures at all times.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
